How to apply for a “Health Code”? 

In order to make full use of the information technology to facilitate the normal travel of immigrants, the national integrated government service platform has established the immigrant version of Health Code which provides the immigrants with the personal pandemic prevention information verification service during the pandemic period so that the immigrants can voluntarily get the Health Code and travel easily. 

Immigrants can voluntarily apply for the Health Code (immigrant version). After getting the code, they can check their own pandemic prevention health information and present the code as a health pass in any necessary occasion. 

The Health Code (immigrant version) serves the persons who have already entered China. It can be applied for and received through WeChat or Alipay.

 　　How to apply for a Travel Code?

The Communication Travel Card Service is mainly for Chinese mobile phone users. It provides the users with an evidence of the countries (regions) they visited and the Chinese cities they stayed in for at least 4 hours during the last 14 days.

If a foreign entrant wants to check his/her Travel Code, he/she should apply for a SIM card from any operator among China Telecom, China Mobile and China Unicom. He/she cannot use the travel enquiry service until 14 days after activating the new card.

　　There are two methods to prove your travel history.

　　Method 1

　　Use the Pandemic Prevention Travel Card of the client application of the State Council.

　　Long press or scan the following QR code to prove your travel history.

　　Method 2

　　Check the travel history through SMS:

　　Send the message “CXMYD” to your mobile operator (10001 for China Telecom / 10086 for China Mobile / 10010 for China Unicom) for enquiry.
