The import and export volume of high-tech products of Qingdao grow steadily 2012-02-02     It is learned from Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Commerce that the import and export volume of high-tech products of Qingdao grew steadily in 2011, a year-on-year increase of 18.5%. Among them, the export is $3.7 billion while the import is $ 3.126 billion, an increase of 16.1% and 21.6% respectively. The growth rate of import is much faster than that of the export. The volume of export of color TV, one of the key products, increased with a falling price.     According to statistics, the exporting share of processing and trading of high-tech products decreased while the import and export of general trade was much better than others. The export of different key products differs from each other distinctively. Among them, the export of instruments and meters, televisions and radios and telecommunication equipment, metalworking machine tools, printed circuit and automatic data-processing equipment were up by 30.4%, 32%, 30.3%, 231.2% and 105.9 %; the volume of export of color TV increased with a falling price. Although its export volume increased by 15.9 %, its export value was only $ 838 million, a year-on-year decrease of 5.4%.
