By June 28, all-front cleaning from the sea to the coast were carried out, thousands of people, more than 1000 boats, scores of large-scale loading machineries were mobilized to carry out the cleaning, and over 100,000 tons green alga were cleaned.

Assistant president of SSCQD Yuan Zhiping said, the green alga will have no effect on the competition of the Olympic Sailing Regatta, and he was confident that by July 15, all green alga at the Olympic Sailing Regatta water will be cleaned up.
