The 1st China International Recycling Economy Fair Will to be Held in Qingdao in October

 China International Recycling Economy Fair is a comprehensive, international, continous exhibition which is approved by the State Council, co-sponsored by the State Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Environmental Protection, Ministry of Housing and Urban and Rural Construction, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Commerce, the SASAC of the State Council, China Council for the Promotion International Trade (CCPIT) and Qingdao Municipal Government and co-hosted by   China SMEs Association and Qingdao Municipal Development and Reform Commission. The theme of the fair is to develop recycling economy and build a resource-saving and environment-friendly society. As the continuous host city, Qingdao will host the fair every two years. The 1st China International Recycling Economy will open in the International Convention and Exhibition Center of Qingdao from 23 October to 25 October 2008.

The Expo will highlight the characteristics of high-end and authority and obey the work principle   of cooperation & win-win, pragmatic& innovative, the event will invite experts, the elites and well-known enterprises from home and aboard to display, discuss and negotiate transactions about  emission reduction, sources re-usage. The 1st fair will have three main modules: summit forum, technology and achievements exhibition, products technical cooperation negotiation as well as 4 major exhibition areas: national recycling economy pilot projects, recycling economy technology, equipment and products advanced technology overseas and sustainable consumption, totally four exhibition areas, covering 30,000 square meters with 1,500 standard booths.


It is learnt from that the Organization Committee for the Expo, Qingdao Municipal Government, and China SMEs Association will undertake the preparatory work in all fields after the first meeting.
