The Qingdao Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau recently held the “Building Dreams, Shaping the Future — OPC Youth Entrepreneurship Salon” at the “Jiu Xiang Jia” integrated employment-and-housing support community on Hengyang Road to better align support with the needs of young entrepreneurs and address key bottlenecks in the early stages of startups. Focused on the practical needs of young founders, the event offered targeted startup guidance through a mix of policy briefings, experience sharing, resource matching and interactive exchange.
Participants outlined their business directions, professional strengths and core advantages during the interactive session while clearly identifying the resources they needed and the value they could offer. Officers from Entrepreneurial Services focused on Qingdao’s entrepreneurship support policies during the keynote segment to explain key incentives and application essentials to help young founders better understand and make full use of available schemes. Industry speakers also shared insights on topics such as how open-source communities can level the starting line while communities shape long-term outcomes, and how to convert traffic into tangible value through AI talent development and commercialization. Drawing on hands-on experience and forward-looking perspectives, their sessions offered practical strategies and actionable guidance for young entrepreneurs.
Next, the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau will continue to refine its services and improve support mechanisms to align more closely with the diverse startup needs of young people in local communities for the purpose of providing full-cycle, professional guidance and support. By building a regular, professional service platform for youth entrepreneurship, the bureau will organize ongoing service activities, training programs and resource matching—to offer solid support for young people to live and start businesses in Qingdao and to achieve sustainable development.
