The 11th EMU (Electric Multiple Units) manufactured by CRRC Qingdao Sifang Co. Ltd. for the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway project was loaded onboard in Qingdao Port on April 26, 2023 and the high-speed train will be shipped to Indonesia by sea. This is the last batch of trains for the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway, marking the complete delivery of the first high-speed train export order of China.
The trains of the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway include 11 EMUs and 1 CIT (Comprehensive Inspection Train) trains, which will be used for passenger transportation and comprehensive inspection tasks. The last batch of train is expected to arrive at Tanjung Priok Port in Jakarta, Indonesia in mid-May, and then be transported by road to the Bandung Dekarur bullet train depot.
The EMU and CIT trains that have arrived in Indonesia is under commissioning test, making preparation for the operation of the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway.
