Qingdao Ronghe Optoelectronics Co Ltd was put into production on November 21, 2022 in Qingdao West Coast New Area and Phase II of Qingdao Optoelectronics Industrial Park broke ground at the same time. Lu Zhiyuan, Party chief of Qingdao, attended the commissioning and ground-breaking ceremony.

New type display is a fundamental, strategic and leading industry of national economic and social development and 1 of the 10 newly emerging industries in Qingdao. In 2022, Qingdao planned and constructed industrial park for new type display and established “Five One” work mechanism to reinforce weak links in the industrial chain of the industry and to build the city into a new highland for development of new type display. Co-built by Tunghsu Group and its strategic partner and West Coast New Area Rongkong Group, Qingdao Optoelectronics Industrial Park is an important part of the new type display industrial park and is to be built in three phases. The industrial park mainly focuses on optical display new materials and high end equipment manufacturing. Qingdao Ronghe Optoelectronics Co Ltd which is put into production this time is a key project of Phase I of Qingdao Optoelectronics Industrial Park and the company is engaged in production of materials in the upstream of optical display and will further boost the industrial chain of the optical display in the city.

During the ceremony, Li Zhaoting, chairman of Tunghsu Group, Chenying, chairman of Tunghsu Optoelectronics Industrial Group, Liu Jianjun, vice mayor of Qingdao, and Geng Tao, vice mayor of Qingdao, delivered speeches.

Leading officials from Qingdao Municipal Government and Qingdao West Coast New Area Sun Yonghong, Sun Haisheng, Li Suman and Zhao Shiyu etc. attended the ceremony.
