From 00:00 to 24:00 on November 22, 2022, 3 new local confirmed cases (2 with mild symptoms and 1 with moderate symptoms) were reported, with 1 from Shibei District, 1 from Huangdao District and 1 from Jimo District (returning from outside Shandong province). Two of them tested positive during centralized quarantine and 1 was detected during cross-regional coordinated screenings.

Fifteen new local asymptomatic cases were identified. Six of them were reported from Jimo District, 2 from Shibei District, 2 from Pingdu (with 1 returning from outside Qingdao), 1 from Licang District, 1 from Chengyang District (returning from outside Shandong province), 1 from Huangdao District (from outside Shandong province), 1 from Jiaozhou (from outside Shandong province) and 1 from Laixi. Among them, 10 cases tested positive during centralized quarantine, 4 were detected during medical observation at home and 1 during cross-regional coordinated screenings.

Two new inbound confirmed cases from Japan were reported. Six new inbound asymptomatic cases (3 from the Republic of Korea and 3 from Japan) were identified. All cases have followed the COVID-19 containment policies upon arrival according to regulations. After testing positive, they were transferred by negative pressure ambulances to the designated hospitals. Two people were diagnosed as confirmed cases (with mild symptoms) and 6 were diagnosed as asymptomatic infections by the expert group on November 22.

From 00:00 to 24:00 on November 22, 2022, 6 local confirmed cases from Shibei District were discharged from hospital and 13 local asymptomatic cases (12 from Shibei District and 1 from Jiaozhou) were discharged from medical observation. No inbound confirmed case was discharged from hospital. One inbound asymptomatic case from the Repubic of Korea was discharged from medical observation.
