From 00:00 to 24:00 on November 19, 2022, 7 new local confirmed cases (4 with mild symptoms and 3 with moderate symptoms) were reported, with 5 from Shibei District, 1 from Shinan District and 1 from Chengyang District (returning from outside Shandong province). Five of them tested positive during centralized quarantine and 2 were detected when seeking medical assistance.

Twelve new local asymptomatic cases were identified. Six of them were reported from Shibei District (with 1 returning from outside Shandong province), 3 from Huangdao District (with 2 from outside Shandong province and 1 from outside Qingdao), 1 from Licang District (returning from outside Shandong province), 1 from Jimo District (from outside Shandong province) and 1 from Pingdu (from outside Qingdao). Among them, 8 cases tested positive during centralized quarantine, 2 were detected during screenings of key groups of individuals and 2 during cross-regional coordinated screenings.

One new inbound confirmed case from Japan was reported. Four new inbound asymptomatic cases were identified, with 2 from the Republic of Korea, 1 from Japan, 1 from Hong Kong, China. All cases have followed the COVID-19 containment policies upon arrival according to regulations. After testing positive, they were transferred by negative pressure ambulances to the designated hospitals. One person was diagnosed as a confirmed case (with mild symptoms) and 4 were diagnosed as asymptomatic infections by the expert groups on November 19.

From 00:00 to 24:00 on November 19, 2022, 11 local confirmed cases (6 from Shibei District, 2 from Shinan District, 1 from Laoshan District, 1 from Jiaozhou and 1 from Pingdu) were discharged from hospital and 31 local asymptomatic cases (18 from Shibei District, 4 from Shinan District, 3 from Licang District, 2 from Laoshan District, 2 from Chengyang District, 1 from Jimo District and 1 from Jiaozhou) were discharged from medical observation. Three inbound confirmed cases (1 from the Republic of Korea, 1 from the UAE and 1 from Hong Kong, China) were discharged from hospital. Eleven inbound asymptomatic cases (6 from the UAE, 3 from Vietnam, 1 from the Republic of Korea and 1 from Hong Kong, China) were discharged from medical observation.
