From 00:00 to 24:00 on November 18, 2022, 4 new local confirmed cases (1 with mild symptoms and 3 with moderate symptoms) from Shibei District were reported. All cases tested positive during centralized quarantine.

Four new local asymptomatic cases were identified, with 2 from Shibei District (from outside Qingdao and relevant information already released to the public) and the other 2 from Huangdao District (a truck driver and a fellow passenger from outside Qingdao). Two of them tested positive during centralized quarantine and 2 were reported by cross-regional coordinated screenings.

No new inbound confirmed case or asymptomatic case was identified. 

From 00:00 to 24:00 on November 18, 2022, 12 local confirmed cases (10 from Shibei District, 1 from Shinan District, and 1 from Chengyang District) were discharged from hospital and 36 local asymptomatic cases (22 from Shibei District, 7 from Shinan District, 3 from Licang District, 1 from Huangdao District, 1 from Jimo District, 1 from Jiaozhou and 1 from Pingdu) were discharged from medical observation. No inbound confirmed case was discharged from hospital. Sixteen inbound asymptomatic cases (8 from the UAE, 6 from the Republic of Korea, 1 from the UK and 1 from Japan) were discharged from medical observation.
