Qingdao COVID-19 Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters convened the 69th regular meeting on April 1, 2020 to listen to the reports of situation of all epidemic prevention and control lines in Qingdao and arrange work of the next stage. Luan Xin, vice mayor of Qingdao and deputy Commander-in-chief of Qingdao COVID-19 Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech.

The meeting pointed out that the epidemic situation in Qingdao is moving steadily in a positive direction, the risks posed by imported cases and brought by the increased movement of people however, are still challenging. It required keeping our heads clear and timely adjusting and improving the epidemic prevention and control measures. We shall treat asymptomatic virus cases as confirmed ones, strictly carry out surveillance, tracing, quarantine and treatment, contain the source of infection and cut off the routes of transmission. The meeting required each quarantine facility not only do a good job of information registration, health checkup, etc., but also embody humane care and provide warm and thoughtful services to returnees from Hubei. Each quarantine site shall strengthen safety management in strict accordance with the requirements, conduct timely safety inspections to eliminate hidden safety hazards.

The meeting emphasized that, while not alleviating the epidemic prevention and control efforts, we must coordinate and promote the resumption of production and work to restore normal production and life orders. Communities and villages must strictly implement the relevant regulations and let all green health QR holders pass freely. The meeting also made arrangement for the epidemic prevention and control and the prevention of fire accident during the Qingming Festival.
