Qingdao COVID-19 Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters convened the 49th regular meeting on March 12, 2020 to listen to the reports of situation of all epidemic prevention and control lines in Qingdao and the opinions and advices of experts, and arrange work of the next stage.

One imported infection of the novel coronavirus and one new case occurred in Qingdao recently. Although the transmission route was known after the epidemic investigation, it also shows that the risk of epidemic import is increasing, and the task of preventing imported infection in the city remains arduous and onerous, the meeting said, demanding no relaxation in the epidemic response preparedness.

According to the meeting, continued and solid efforts are needed in strengthening the prevention and control in the city, especially at the community level.

The meeting also highlighted the implementation of relevant policies and help solving the problems enterprises face to increase the work resumption rate and to realize the economic and social development goals of the whole year.
